    We decided to get out again this morning after not being out in awhile and reading about pompano being caught.

    As usual we arrived early to start fishing about dawn with fds and sand fleas.

    It was a beautiful morning with winds out of the north and 65 degrees.

    Since it was low tide at 630 we cast out far using fds and sand fleas on separate rods.

    Within 15 minutes we caught a pompano about 9 inches and we were hopeful that there would be more keeper size.

    Unfortunately after that we caught a bluefish, a jack and a small shark.

    It was cloudy so we stayed almost until high tide around noon.

    It was a beautiful day and we will get back out soon 20190308_090252.jpg .
