Alabama Opens Sand Hill Crane Season

    Sandhill Cranes can be hunted in the state starting December 3, 2019. The migratory bird hasn't been hunted in Alabama since 1916.

    To all those wanting to hunt them...

    Sounds like the Texas Ribeye is coming back to Alabama.

    not sure if we have a different sub-species down here in FL or why they are listed as threatened by the state ,but there are plenty for sure, especially in the winter months.. would be nice to have some type of season are tags issued for them. never have eaten one but here they are great
