450 lbs a day Ice Maker

When you go out fishing alot, and your boat takes 450 lbs of ice, it could cost you over $100.00 on ice, just to go fishing... not to mention when you get back you will need to re-ice the fish down using even more ice... plus the convenience of not having to go buy and transport the ice every time you go fishing...

so it pays to have your own ice maker....

I think we all wish we had one of those at our house. Very nice!

I got tired of going to the bait / ice place to pickup tons of ice, then again looking for a place to get ice after dark late night when I would get back all tied, so the last thing I wanted to do was go look for more ice to re-ice the fish down for the evening...
So I broke down and got one... had it for about 6 years now..

That's definitely a good way to go if you can.

With the Red Snapper season just around the corner, and since I needed to change out my Ice Maker Filters, I decided to change out my whole filtration system to a double Dupont Cartage Unit with separate pressure gauges... My old unit Everpure EV9612-22 i2000^2 Filter Cartridge were around $70.00 each, the Dupont cartridges are only around 10 bucks for two. Hoping that these units work better, since they are considered a whole house unit.

I think you'll be happy with a dual cartage unit, and the two gauges is an added bonus.

That's awesome, I think every serious fisherman would want to have this at their disposal.

What kind of icemaker do you use?

Beautiful setup. I bet the filters will cut down on the maintenance.
