Good morning to everyone and thank you for letting me join the group. Funny how things happen. I was just searching the web and trying to learn some info for shrimping in the Daytona area and came along this web page. Felt good about it and decided to give it a shot. Glad I did. I am an accomplished golfer and play all over from Daytona to Orlando and beyond. Fishing is something I enjoy and trying to and wanting to get better at it. Currently have a 2019 Nauticstar 22xs and we love it. Tried some inlet fishing and intercoastal fishing. Just bought a casting net and practicing how to throw it. Looking forward to the forum and posting into it.
    Have a great day. :)

Sounds like a great boat you have to do your fishing. Loads of good information and resources to take advantage of here and the members are varied and helpful. Should be part of the equation to helping you become an accomplished fisherman. I know I had lots of great help and answers to my stupid questions (still do) when we moved down here.
See info below for helpful hints and site rules. Hope to see some fishing reports from your soon.

I tried but the forum says I am restricted still and not able to see (R) posts. Maybe the portal is slow and hasn't counted my posts yet :) I thought I received an email saying I wasn't restricted anymore and had access to them. All good, I'll keep trying

    LOL :D
so how to a post something asking for help on bait, rigs and places to fish at?
I thought I posted something in one of the forms for advice on fishing the ponce Jetty.
How do I know which form is the correct form to post into

I don’t see where you made a post asking for advice on the ponce jetty. I think it’s about time for the Redfish to be at the jetties but Sam and some of the others know all about that and can give you the details.
This forum is the one specific to your area:
    http://www.shrimpnfishflorida.com/forums/forums/fishing-chatter-anything-to-do-with-fishing.27/
Probably this forum for the general fishing questions:
    http://www.shrimpnfishflorida.com/forums/forums/questions-answers-gain-angling-knowledge.123/
    Here’s one specific to rigging:
    http://www.shrimpnfishflorida.com/forums/forums/fishing-school-learning-tips-tricks-rigs-etc.70/

Use search to find reports about the Reds at the Ponce Jetties for Sept of last year and previous.
