It was 88-89F!
Crabs have a critical thermal max (when they die) at 92-93F!
They are thermally stressed right now and staying in the main channels and deep holes to stay cool.
Double ring nets off the docks aren't working too well right now. Folks that are doing well are those using the castable crab nets from Amazon. They are able to get out into deeper water...
